


Cosy Cottage is a traditional period stone cottage on a small side road in the heart of Youlgrave. There's a cosy lounge in which to relax at the end of the day. You can nestle down on the comfortable sofa, warm yourself in front of the log burning stove and watch your favourite movie on the Smart T.V.
On sunny days you can relax in the enclosed garden and maybe eat al fresco on the patio furniture. Upstairs there are two bedrooms - a double/twin and a bunk bedded room. There's a family bathroom with bath and shower over. There is parking for one car on Moor Lane.
Youlgrave, also known as Youlgreave, is a picturesque village located in the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire, England. The village is situated between the towns of Bakewell and Matlock, making it a popular destination for tourists exploring the natural beauty and historic sites of the Peak District. The nearby Bradford Dale is a particularly beautiful spot, offering scenic riverside walks and opportunities for birdwatching. The Limestone Way, a long-distance footpath, also passes through the village.
Despite its small size, Youlgrave has a range of amenities, including three pubs, 2 village shops and 3 cafes. The village is known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it a charming place for both visitors and residents.
Nestled down a small lane in the heart of Youlgrave Cosy Cottage is the perfect place for rest and re-cooperation. There are plenty of walks from the door but if you'd like to jump in your car or take the bus (only £2 in the Peak District for any single journey) there's lots to see in the surrounding area. Chatsworth House (8 miles), Bakewell (3 miles), Haddon Hall (5 miles), Arbor Low Stone Circle and Gib Hill (6 miles), Peak Rail, a heritage railway running steam and diesel train services, Rowsley South (7 miles), Lathkill Dale (2 miles), Nine Ladies Stone Circle (9 miles), Monsal Trail (5 miles), Matlock Bath (10 miles), The Heights of Abraham (10 miles).
